The Vote in Albania
ALBANIA-The Vote (A Video on citizens activism during
June 2013 Elections in Albania),"The Vote", is an initiative of Rroma
and Egyptian activists during parliamentary elections on 23 June 2013 in
Albania, focuses on 14 Rroma communities
across the country. This initiative represents a new relationship and a different
approach from"20-year tradition" of the relationship between citizens
and politics.Through this initiative citizens got organized to express their
common interests and to influence the political discourse and agenda."The
Vote" initiative was designed and implemented by Rroma activists with full
participation of their communities.
