Contemporary Rromani poetry by Miroslav 

Mihajlović:

Rromani writter and poetrist Miroslav Mihajlović was born 11.11.1952 in Vrba near serbian town Kraljevo. Besides abowe mentioned he occupy himselfe very succesfully as translator as well as artistic critic and reviewer on the ground of fine art.

Another popular and respective serbian writter Branko. V. Radičević made some written recomendation about Miroslav's poetry mostly focused in his intersting  style of writting, motives and origine of ideas wich are incorporated in Mirosla's poetry. It is very unusual, unique, rich rromani-serbian, rromani-indian, and rromani-arabian poetry wich involve a lot of emotions and associations wich could be compared with music..but nice earthly one.

He use bilingual verse romani and serbian full of new dimensions, contents and sounds. The poetrists are the best interpretators of paintings vs paintors are the moste capable and sensitive to poetric and abstract contents. 

But music is always  somewhere in sourounding of poetry even we can't hear it in forme of recorded sound. For Miroslav, the music is basic stone and source for his verses wich always  impress us with inovations, feelings,pictures, spectracles, even miracles.

" Ašunero " was published in year 2000/2001 in rromani and serbian language. Today is almost impossible to found the book but since I had an opportunity to know and to be in familiar intercourse with mr. Miroslav while I was in Trstenik durring 11 International Art Camp I would like to share some of his poetry works.

Tuće kama čhinava e šole e đese

te na aven pese

sargo nakhle đesa.

Andar o khoro durimasko

čeraina kama pijava

ćerava so kames.

Po bero " Kamav tu "

tusa kama džava

andaro kamlipe ćerava gođalipe.

TUĆE- ZA TEBE (in serbian translation )

Za tebe bih

prekinuo okove dana

i učinio da ne budu

reprize sebe samih.

Iz krčaga prostora

zvezde bih ispio,

činio šta hoćeš.

Lađom "Volim te"

S tobom bi plovio

put mora nesvakirašnjice.

Alhemičar bih postao,

iz ljubavi stvarao razum.

Na kraj bih te odveo,

da

od pustinje,

raj stvaramo volenjem.

Sve bih za tebe učinio.

DIJADEMA (in serbian)

Pitam se:

šta radim

na sva četiri ugla,

kad je više ne očekujem?

jesnje lišće,

šuškavo se spušta

na pločnik.

Čega to

treba

da se setim,

dok se posmatram

u zvezdanom ogledalu

neba?

I,

šta sam ja,

razasut

na četiri

strane

puta?

belina pšenice

u

crnoj zemlji.

Šta sam?

I was written only some of Miroslav's art works that we read together when he deducated me his book. The evening we spent together with his son and other talented artist is one of the best days  not only in Trstenik...I still smell the place and lively remember his warm words, speak and the view of his eyes.
