UN Human Rights Committee to review Russia, Cambodia, Côte
d'Ivoire, Cyprus, Croatia and Monaco
GENEVA (9 March 2015) – The UN Human Rights Committee, which
monitors implementation of the International Covenant on Civil and Political
Rights (ICCPR), is meeting in Geneva from 16 to 24 March. The Committee will review these countries on
the following dates:
Russia (16-17 Mar); Cambodia (17-18 Mar); Côte d'Ivoire
(18-19 Mar); Cyprus (19-20 Mar);
Croatia (23-24 Mar); Monaco (24-25 Mar)
The above are among the 168 States Parties to the ICCPR,
which is one of the main international human rights treaties, and so are
required to submit regular reports to the Committee of 18 international
independent experts. The Committee will
also hear from NGOs and national human rights institutions.

The Committee's dialogue with the respective government
delegations takes place from 15:00 - 18:00 and 10:00 - 13.00 the next day at
