UN Committee on the Elimination of Racial Discrimination publishes findings on Argentina, Uruguay, Togo, Portugal, Turkmenistan and Italy
GENEVA (9 December 2016) – The UN Committee on the Elimination of Racial Discrimination has published its findings on the countries it examined during its latest session from 21 November to 9 December: Argentina, Uruguay, Togo, Portugal, Turkmenistan and Italy.
The findings contain positive aspects of how the respective State is implementing the International Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Racial Discrimination (ICERD), highlightmain matters of concern and make recommendations.
