"Good things happen if it’s a lot of people’s
wish "
The first school day across the country began with lots
of fun, excitement, music and sun. In a tradition that Bulgarian has preserved
in time! In this day wishes to children, teachers , parents sound more sincere,
more optimistic, expecting a happy childhood and success in school.
Amalipe Center invited many guests , representatives of
embassies , local and state government, NGOs ... proven partners and friends of
schools, to share the joy and plans for a successful 2013/2014 school year.
The visitors
responded and gladly pay their respects to the work and enthusiasm of teachers
. Breathed their belief that they are not alone and everything, that is for the
best of children can happen when many people want it.
Petko
Rachev Slavejkov Primary school, Djuliunica, district of Veliko Tarnovo
Secretary of Education Krasimir Valtchev, Governor of
Veliko Tarnovo district engineer G. Rachev , Mayor of Lyaskovec Dr. Ivelina
Getsova, Head of RIE R. Licheva and the Chairman of Amalipe Deyan Kolev were
guests at the opening of the new school year in school " Petko Rachev
Slavejkov " in the village of Djuliunica .
Mr. Valtchev read an address by the Minister of
Education Prof. Klisarova . He did not hide his excitement and pleasantsurprise
by the good look of the school, on the way it successfully trains Roma and
Bulgarian children , becoming a model for other central schools.
Deyan Kolev welcomed the participants and stressed that
the school in Djuliunica has managed to do something that many other schools
failed in - to integrate Roma children after the closure of the school in the
village of Dobri Dyal , introducing intercultural and interactive education
without committing an outflow of Bulgarian students and dropout of Roma
children. Amalipe helped and will continue to assist this process – by training
teachers, assisting in the implementation of the EPA " Ethnic
Folklore", helping to prevent any drop-out . Moderators of the Center for
Community Development Strajitsa - Lěskovec also assist the school in dealing
with Roma parents. Deyan Kolev said that schools in small towns should receive
additional support to ensure quality of education and access to education. The
Mayor of Lyaskovec and the school thanked Amalipe and gave strong desire for
continuing cooperation.
Staff from the
Office of Center , Amalipe "managed to visit and join the celebration of
four schools in Sofia district.
Vasil
Levski Primary school, Vidrare
Melting pot of emotions, games and new ideas was the opening of the
school year in Vasil Levski School, Vidrare .
Special guests were the Ambassador of the Republic of
South Africa , Mr. Boiki Motloung , the representative of CIEDT
"Amalipe" - Momchil Baev , Prof. Maria Baeva from Sofia University ,
Albena Petrova - Secretary of Pravets municipality , mayors of villages,
friends.
Untraditional holiday at school began after the ritual
of welcome and raising flags and the addresses of the guests. Parents and
students competed in the competitive relay and team games. Artists painted,
appliqued and made wonderful things, supervised by Rumyana Lazarova. Entertainers - clowns, Pippi
Longstocking and Little Red Riding Hood created happy mood and supported
thechildren. The fastest and most skilful received awards.
Guests and parents wrote their wishes on a special
poster titled "Our school" for controversial year, health, fortune
and admiration for the beautiful vision of the school.
On behalf of Amalipe Center Momchil Baev congratulated
the school for the great success that it has achieved, including in the
prevention of Roma children dropout. He stressed that the school is an example
of that tolerance and diversity are the right way to success !

Stoil Popov Primary School , Sofia
During the opening ceremony in the decorated courtyard
of 171 Stoil Popov Primary school in Sofia, Dimitar Petrushev, coordinator at
the Amalipe Center presented a congratulatory address and gave a computer to
the school as a gift. In his emotional
speech he did not forget to remind the folk wisdom that say “Those who learn
will succeed”. Mr. Petrushev thanked the guests - ViceAmbassador of Great
Britain Catherine Barber and the Chairman of the Bulgarian-Swiss Chamber of
Commerce Boni Bonev for the support they give to schools.
Dimtcho Debelyanov and
St. Cyril and Methodius Primary schools , Ihtiman
Amalipe Center works with two schools in the town of
Ihtiman under the Prevention of Roma children drop out of school Program -
Dimtcho Debelyanov and St. Cyril and Methodius Primary schools. With guests from the Trust
for social achievement Sarah Perrin - Executive Director and Veneta Ilieva -
CFO , the representatives of the educational team of the Amalipe Center -
Desislava Stefanova and Rumyana Yordanova were very impressed by the
celebration and renewed facilities of the schools , especially the cabinets
for EPA / Club " Ethnic Folklore -
Roma folklore" . Great surprise was the newly built facilityadjacent to
the school ,,St. Cyril and Methodius" with classrooms for children from
the preparatory groups and a hall for expression of talented kids at school.
Hundreds of parents who came to support their children and the schools teams
were very happy and promised to be more active participants in school life.

Hristo Botev
school in Lopyan opened its doors to welcome its eager to learn students, to
educate and to inspire confidence in their own skills and abilities

Deputy Ambassador of the Republic of Poland in Bulgaria , Mr. Bogomil Georgiev
- Mayor of Etropolje , Mr. LakoKrastev - Mayor of Lopyan , Mr. Atanas Kuzmanov
- Regional Coordinator for Southwest Bulgaria to CIEDT "Amalipe "
Mrs.Rossitsa Ivanova – Chief inspector " Education, culture and
religion" in Etropole municipality, Mr. Peyo Peev – ex-principal of the
school and vice president of the school board , Mr. Ivan Todorov, Mrs. Ganka
Hristova, Mr. John Getov - moderators in Etropole from CCD to Center
"Amalipe " parents and local citizens.
This holiday , full of hopes and expectations, is
wonderful for everyone , who have crossed the school threshold , because once
again friends get together to overcome difficulties , to share the joys and
enjoy the results . The smallest - firstgraders were the first who crossed the
threshold. They passed under the life-giving garland of flowers and the open
book - a window to science .
To open the gate to the vast world , the students were
given a key and promised to keep it to unlock an unknown door every day and
they will never have unopened doors.

"Amalipe" with gratitude for the helping hand for the submitted
lessons , for faith in children and teachers , as well as optimism that fills
them.

Botev Primary school, Galabnik , district Pernik
The first bell
rang especially for small first graders , greeted by their teacher in Hristo
Botev school, village ofGalabnik . Flowers, excited parents , children smiles ,
elderly people , remembered their first school days havefulfilled the courtyard
of a large school in a small village, nestled in nature . Guests at the
official ceremony marking the start of the new school year were: Mr. Plamen
Alexiev - Mayor of Radomir, Ms. Maya Georgieva - deputy mayor of the village of
Galabnik, Tanya Vanova - a representative of the Centre " Amalipe"
and special guests from the Embassy of the United States in Bulgaria -
Secretary Kristen Stolt and Evgeni Todorov.
A mother of a student from 6th grade greeted the
children and guests with much trembling voice and warm parental eyes. She
wished them to be healthy , strong and smart together to face the difficulties
and joys in life. KristenStolt also wished Good luck. She truly deliver her
dreams to students in the school, namely: one day, they can stand on her place
and being politicians, doctors or
teacherswould wish the same to their children and grandchildren. Tanya Vanova
of Center "Amalipe" thanked the director of the school " Hristo
Botev " Ms. Katya Kristeva for sharing this solemn moment with all guests,
for the warm welcome in this place truly yearning for visitors and wished a
successful collaboration during the new 2013-2014 school year.
"St.
Kliment Ohridski"Primary school, Bukovlak ,district Pleven
At 10.00 am, with an official flag -raising ceremony of
the Republic of Bulgaria began the new school 2013/14 year in one of the - the
big schools in district of Pleven - "St. Kliment Ohridski" in the
village of Bukovlak .
With warm words Mrs. Theodora Vlahova - director of the
school turned to nearly 500 students and their parents. Welcome address on
behalf of Prof. Klisarova - Minister of Education and Science, read Daniela
Bachovski - Head " IOKD " in RIE - Pleven . At the invitation of the
Centre " Amalipe" official guests were Yanita Manolova - Dep .
Executive Director of the Agency for Social Assistance and Emil Todorov –
Director of " Child Protection" in ASA . Ms. Manolova expressed
heradmiration to the festive atmosphere and festive mood of the participants
and wished them all health and success.
Mrs Yonka Danova handed a congratulatory address on
behalf of Deyan Kolev - Chairman of CIEDT "Amalipe" and wished the
students to be healthy and to continue with handfuls to draw from the fountain
of knowledge. She wished the teachers to be patient and have the strength to
fulfill all of their innovative ideas.
The Chairman of the culture house - Slavka Manova also
welcomed the students and gave honorary diplomas to the most active that have
been involved in various amateur activities during the holiday days. The
chairman of the senior club gave all guests colorful garden flowers and
expressed satisfaction that they are part of this holiday.

started short musical - literary program,
prepared by graduates of Maria Lozanova and Tanya Gospodinova . "
... Millions and millions of lives , and each requires .. love , hope, comfort
... " sang the children from " Ethnic folklore". Three first-graders recited poems. Not only
with applause parents demonstrated compassion and commitment to school life .
Their representative congratulated all the students and gave words of thanks to
their teachers .

Botev " Primary school, Kaspichan, district Shumen
The Schoolyard of Hristo Botev School in Kaspichan was
filled with joyful and happy children's smiling faces, excited parents and
teachers. Exactly at 9.00 am, the first bell rang for the new school year.
Guests at the ceremony were : Neli Nikolova - Regional Coordinator for
Northeastern Bulgaria to Center "Amalipe " many parents and former
students .
The celebration began with the welcoming of national
and school flags , then the Hymn of the Republic of Bulgaria sounded . The
program continued with a speech by the Director of the school , Mrs Pavlina
Fileva that greeted the audience at the beginning of the school year.Greeting
addresses on the occasion of the first day of school were received by the
Minister of Education and Science, Ms AneliyaKlisarova from the governor
Vencislav Venkov, Lyubomir Hristov and Donka Ivanova – MPs, by the Mayor of
Kaspichan Milena Nedeva.

Primary school is a model for the successful introduction of intercultural and
interactive training and education and one of the most active in the
projectReducing the dropout of Roma children in school.
The school program continued with colorful rainbow of
exciting performances by the students.
After the traditional entering of first graders from
their first teacher - Mrs. Diana Georgieva at school, the program continued in
the classroom. Beautiful butterflies with first letters of each child were put
on the blackboard. Every child that found his/ her letter received the lovely
butterfly for a prize and a set of textbooks.
General
Kartsov Primary school, Hristo Danovo, district Plovdiv
The new school
year for General Kartsov Primary school, Hristo Danovo, was met with much
excitement and joy of parents and students . For them, the school does not
close the door even during the holidays .
Guests at the ceremony were the Ambassador of the
Kingdom of Belgium Annick Van Calster, the present andformer mayor of the
village, a representative of the Municipality of Karlovo, President of
"Probuda”culture house and of the
school board , the regional coordinator of "Amalipe " Ms. Vania
Dimova .
The principal Mrs.Krasimira Dimitrova and guests warmly
welcomed the children, their parents and teachers and made their wishes for
health, success and dreams come true .
Her Excellency Mrs. Calster met with the most active
members of the parent club at the school who described how their attitudes
towards education are changed and how important was the role of the principal
and center "Amalipe".

Smirnenski" Primary school, Vodoley, district Veliko Tarnovo
With the new school year in the village of Vodoley ,
teachers, children and parents met with first graders , although a few - but
with big smiles on their faces . After the ceremonial raising of the Bulgarian
flag and anthem of Bulgaria , the director of the school " Hristo
Smirnenski " Mrs. Vankova welcomed all present students and parents ,
guests, former teachers and directors . Greetings were read on behalf of the
Minister of Education and science andChairman of Center "Amalipe"
Deyan Kolev. In this dayCenter "Amalipe " gifted benches for relax
and good times in the schoolyard of teachers and children. Local moderator to
Center "Amalipe" for village of Vodoleybrought each child a notebook
, ruler and curriculum. "Good luck in the new school year” was heard by
every guest and parent in the bubbling laughter of children .
Vasil
Levski Primary school, Ledenik , district Veliko Tarnovo
During the first
day at school "Vasil Levski" in the villageof Ledenik, the director
Natasha Marinova, Mayor Ivan Stoyanov and all parents welcomed all students and
first graders. For a consecutive year the opening of the school year was
attended by representatives of CIEDT "Amalipe " who gave a
congratulatory address by Deyan Kolev - Chairman of Center "Amalipe"
to staff and students . All first graders received gifts from the local
moderator Aneta Shikova .
St.
Kliment Ohridski Primary school, town of Pavlikeni
Music and songs rang out on the schoolyard for the
opening of the new school year in School " St. Kliment
Ohridski", Pavlikeni. Among the
official guests were the Mayor of Pavlikeni Mr. Emanuil Manolov , and members
of the municipal council in the town of Pavlikeni.The ceremony began with
welcoming the flag of the Republic of Bulgaria and the school flag . The
school's director , Ms. Angelova, welcomes all students and after her the floor
was taken by the Mayor of Pavlikeni and Father George, who wished " Good
luck " to students. Most eager were the first graders who first crossed
the school threshold for the first time . CIEDT "Amalipe" gifted to
all first graders calendars , week programs , lines and more. CCD Pavlikeni
give presents in the schools in the town ofByala Cherkva and the village of
Batak. The municipality also had gifts for the youngest , which were given by
the Mayor of Pavlikeni Mr. Emanuil Manolov.
Angel
Karaliychev High school, town of Strajitza, districtVeliko Tarnovo
The guests : Detelina Borisova - Mayor of Strajitsa,
Ilian Marinov - Chairman of the Municipal Council - Strajitsa and Denitza
Tsoneva greeted first graders , students and teachers. Mrs. Penka Dimitrova -
Director of the school, thanked the parents and guests who honored the
celebration. CCD - Strajitsa wish all students a successful school year.
Centre
for Community Development Byala Slatina, district of Vratsa with
local clubs in the villages of Gabare,Tarnak and Tarnava with holiday
celebrations opened new school 2013 - 2014 year. Community moderators to
CCDByala Slatinaattended the opening of the new school year in Elementary
School "Hristo Smirnensky " located in the Roma neighborhood of the
town of Byala Slatina.Welcoming address to students, parents , teachers and
guests took Mr. Evgeni Angelov - Director of the school. Welcome address was
also made by the community moderators to CCD Byala Slatina .
During the first
day at school “Otec Paisii" –Knezha,district
of Pleven, moderators of CCD – Knezha headed their wishes by reading a
congratulatory letter from theChairman of Center Amalipe.
Moderators of
the Center for Community Development in
Dolna Banya for the second consecutive year congratulated all the students
, teachers and parents on the occasion, "The first day at school".
Special greetings and bouquet of flowers were laid to Mrs. Petya Ianeva -
Director of Neofit Rilski High School.
In L.Karavelov primary school the moderators of Center for Community Development in the
town of Peshtera read congratulatory letter addressed to teachers, parents
and students for the first day of school. For the better teamwork moderators
were invited to the first staff meeting of teachers to discuss the joint
initiatives and activities they could do together.
The first day of school was opened successfully in Novi
Pazar. The moderators of the Center for Community Development had the honor to
greet students, parents and teachers from N.Y.Vaptzarov school. They wished a
successful and fruitful 2013 2014 school year to first graders and gave them a
ruler, notebooks and weekly widgets.

Primary school in the town of Etropoleonce again the moderators of CCD
greeted guests, teachers, parents and students for the new school year. They
gave first graders rulers, widgets and notebooks.
With a smile and desire the children from Hristo Botev
School in Kameno welcomed the new school year. Community moderators of CCD read
a congratulatory letter addressed to teachers, parents, guests and students.
Best wishes for a successful school 2013 - 2014 year! The first bell rang for
first graders who eagerly waited to meet the ABC and reading book.
