During his visit, Mr. Šimonović is scheduled to meet with a number of Government officials as well as civil society actors. He is also scheduled to visit the eastern region of the country.
Mr. Šimonović will hold a press conference in Kyiv on 15 December, launching the eighth monthly report of the UN Human Rights Monitoring Mission in Ukraine. The press conference will take place at the Crisis Media Centre, Instytutska street, 4 (Hotel “Ukraina,” 3rd floor) at 13:00 (Kyiv time).
On 12 December, Mr. Šimonović will also participate in the presentation of the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights. The event will take place at 15:00 (Kyiv time) in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mykhailivska Square, 1.
