Srbiji prisutno i "apokaliptično izveštavanje" o EU, kakvo možda još
postoji u Rusiji.
imale veći broj novinara u Briselu nego sada Srbija.
ugla zahteva interesovanje, u određenoj meri specijalizovanost i poznavanje
teme.
preneti glavne poruke bez kvalifikacija.

Serbian media are mostly dealing with European
integration on a daily basis, based on official statements and without much
substance to engage in a broader context, it was said on 16 November in the
debate about the challenges of reporting on EU. The gathering is estimated that
the struggle for markets and viewership determines the theme, and that is
present in Serbia and "apocalyptic reporting" about the EU, what
might still exist in Russia. It was pointed out that Croatia and Slovenia had
when accessing a larger number of journalists in Brussels than it is now Serbia.
The correspondent of Radio-Television Serbia from
Brussels Dusan Gajic said that the European integration is mainly reporting on
a daily basis and when there is a lot of interest in this, that "the level
of interest depends on the political agenda.
" Gajic said that the media coverage of
"present policies and rhetoric" and that the media are less concerned
with the substance of the integration process, which, he added, is not typical
just for Serbia.
According to him,
reporting on the EU from the perspective of journalistic interest requires, to
some extent, specialization and knowledge of the topic.
Beta correspondent from Brussels Dragan Blagojevic said
that it is difficult to be an expert for various complex area, and journalists
often have to rely on expert officials of some of the issues that the
information "provided to slice."
Blagojevic said that Croatia and Slovenia during the
accession had more journalists in Brussels, but today the leading Croatian
newspapers have their correspondents, a Slovenian Delo, for example,
correspondent for Economic Affairs.
At the meeting it was said that the media in Serbia,
three journalists now reporting from Brussels.
The editor of the Production Network Group Maja Divac
said that the Croatian Radio and Television once formed teams for chapters while
this approach does not exist in Serbia.
She said that in reporting on EU opportunities are not
much improved compared to a few years ago, although now more reports on the
integration, she said, quality media.
Maja Divac has estimated that journalists are not
sufficiently specialized in creating media content of the EU, and that the
problem of lack of information and that it does not pay enough attention to the
topics of the EU.
It found that things depend on the editorial policy and
the structure of the media.
"The fact is that the media deal with integration by
transfers of officials' statements and isolated events that do not put in a
wider context," she said.
She added that "the basic problem is that the
newsroom view from the perspective of daily reporting."
Responsible editor of the weekly NIN Nikola Tomić said
that the poor monitoring of European integration ignorance, lack of interest
and lack of money and people.
He said that in the media sphere is dominated by the
struggle for markets and ratings that determines the darkness.
He also said that the influential place in the media are
often individuals whose personal commitment of anti-European, and that the
Serbian media, specifically "apocalyptic reporting" about the EU -
that the EU project is dead, and that is already falling apart, what else can
only see maybe in Russia.
Tomic said that the media was not given an objective
picture of the European Commission report on Serbia's progress because
interpetirana through the statements of Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic.
Gajic said that journalists seeking to report about it
say whether it is positive or negative and said that it is better to convey the
main messages without qualifications.
Maja Divac said that the European Commission report on
naprektu "perfect starting point for many" i agree with Gajic that
journalists need to focus on things that might not seem interesting at first
glance, but that "without editorial motivation to no purpose."
